Why Silver Compass?
Ever since I was young, I have been an adventurer. I am always looking for another turn in the road or the trail. My head is often in the adventure and as a result, I make some "wrong" turns along the way. I've always found my way to where I was going, eventually, but some comedic side-trips have been taken. In 2021 I got married to the love of my life. As a wedding present, she gave me this compass. It represents my return to myself, to her, to trusting life, to the commitment in our marriage and to the road home. It is a literal and figurative tool for finding my bearing and staying my course. I carry it with me daily and it has become precious enough that I decided to name our life coaching practice in honor of this Silver Compass.
My Journey
Hi. I'm Jim Hart, Principal Coach at Silver Compass. I have been consulting and coaching and mentoring for organizations, large and small, for the last 25 years. Along the way I had the opportunity to help organizations save hundreds of millions of dollars, increase ad revenues by hundreds of percents, build advertising products, manage web operations and teams of people, and coach many individuals in their journey to more effective leadership. Along the way, I have come to realize I enjoy and fit with coaching much more than consulting. In the last few years I have focused more on life and executive coaching and have trained and practiced in it with iPEC. I look forward to a discussion with you to see how we might collaborate in this life.
Where We Are
Silver Compass Coaching is located in Bend, Oregon. We work with our clients how they want to work. We will come to your business location, meet online via Zoom, work over telephone, or meet in person in our offices in Bend.
